In the same way, you might have learned during the creation of the community currency that money spent locally circulates within the community 3x more than in chains, supporting local businesses and fostering a stronger local economy. This concept extends to our holiday spending.
Consider supporting local producers, projects and businesses, making conscious choices that contribute positively to your community. While large corporations may produce goods, it's the consumers who choose to buy from them. By aligning our spending with our values, we become conscious consumers, making a small but meaningful impact.
